The main course—the heartiest part of the meal. The focal point.
A meal with mains might be served earlier in the day, but most of us associate having that course with dinner. Interestingly, “dinner” comes from the Old French word “disnar,” which means “breakfast”–and historically, dinner was the first meal of the day, Usually served around noon, it was also the largest meal of the day.
The mains in these sections are among our family’s favorites. We’re happy to share—Enjoy!
